The Sylt Air is a grown company, originating from the Friesenflug und der Aeroline, merged in 2001 to Sylt Air GmbH.
Following up on the long tradition of the seaside air service, the service to 1963 was started with the connection to Sylt and Wyk on Föhr. A short time later, the company expanded the offer by sightseeing and charter flights and a line on demand to the other islands and to Hamburg. Charter, line and sightseeing flights as well as flight school can be found in one hand at Sylt Air today.
The focus is on the charter. As a result, the individual customer service over the actual flight operations and the passenger comes in the fore. Close cooperation with the airport Sylt, the GAT at Terminal 2 and the island Sylt Tourismus Service is obligatory. Sylt Airport is the gateway to the island and the first point of contact for tourists and business travelers.
